James Stickler MSc.

Seeking a break from the UK and his career in fluvial-geomorphology /hydrology , James came out to the Rocky Mountains of BC in 2011 to do some skiing. He enjoyed the outdoor life in Canada over the desk job in Bristol , so stayed on for several years with Panorama Ski Patrol.

We were delighted when James joined the team at Invermere Optometry, to lead the retinal tomography and optical imaging department.

James lives in Invermere with his wife Rachel and his 2 cats. He currently holds the record for biking to work every single day. He reports that when biking to work there is not much difference between -10 C and -28C , they are both very cold.
